Do you wish to be part of the UNESCO Higher Education (HED) change?

UNESCO is launching the Arts YOUth call to raise your voices through art and change HED systems at the upcoming World Higher Education Conference (WHEC2022) held in Barcelona from 18 to 20 May 2022. The WHEC2022 is the UNESCO HED decade’s Conference that will open the door to creative and visionary conceptions in Higher Education, paving the way for more sustainable and inclusive societies.

The Youth Call for Art is open for all youth from all backgrounds and regions to participate. It includes video and visual arts categories.

Our goal: convey new visions for the future of Higher Education. There are 218 billion students globally—even more who are leading their way out of the traditional path. Every youth has a story to tell, a vision to convey, and emotions to transmit.

The WHEC2022 community is here to listen, watch and take action. 

The best artworks will be exhibited online on the UNESCO website, WHEC2022 youth platform, and some will be shown on-site in Barcelona at the WHEC2022. The young filmmakers authors of the best videos will beneficiate from a mentoring session with ESCAC film school. 

Art is a powerful symbolic approach to reframing HED. So, come and participate in this call ! UNESCO will recognize your participation with credentials.
