International Higher Education Number 83
Diciembre 15, 2015

International Higher Education Number 83, our 2015 special issue on internationalization of higher education. This is the

second special issue that CIHE has published in the last year in
cooperation with the Centre for Higher Education Internationalisation
(CHEI) at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Italy, with
Fiona Hunter and myself as guest editors. With 16 contributions, the issue
provides an overview of key thematic and national trends in
internationalization, with particular emphasis on the curriculum.

I use this opportunity to announce a change in our subscription policy, as
of 2016. Over the past 20 years, IHE has been published and distributed
(both in print and online) for free to our readers all over the world. This
has been made possible thanks to grants received from the Ford Foundation
and the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the generous support of Boston
College, and the free contributions by our authors. We want to continue to
provide IHE for free to our online subscribers in the coming years. But,
given the increasing costs of printing and mailing, we must charge a modest
annual fee for those who wish to receive the printed version. More details
of this policy change will follow in January.

For now, we wish you all the best as 2015 draws to a close.

Cordially
